I feel like no one will ever appreciate how difficult this was to draw… facial shapes and facial structure are like…my big weakness. I can’t properly stylize them to save my life so this is like a HUGE thing for me to have drawn so well, well. I mean this is pretty close to a stylized vers. of how I see Teresa in my head — even though I didn’t draw her awesome teeth or her secondary mouth.

Also, thought I’d draw her in a new outfit, I kept some of the flavor of her original outfit design but tried to…spice it up a bit? Okay, it’s barely any different but I still thought it was cute.
I will never finish this. I really wanted to, but it just won’t be happening. my concentration was broken and if I don’t finish a vent drawing in one go it’ll never get finished…
basically, I wanted to draw a physical manifestation of my guilt since it’s a very negative and detrimental force in my life. I have a lot of issues with intense — and often unwarranted — guilt. It’s very often paralyzing and I feel like it’s going to rise up, swallow me whole and suffocate me.

quick doodle I did of Teresa… I’ve been working a lot on the novel that she’s going to be in and I’ve been feeling both inspired and entirely uninspired… so I just doodled something up really quick, bluh bluh.
Guess who’s muse only hits her right before bed after staying up WAY LATER than she should have due to pent up stress and frustration??? Mine.
I only did a quick concept sketch so I could get the idea out but wouldn’t be kept up for another four hours painting and coloring the idea… I actually really like the more cartoony look to her face in this sketch, hope I can keep it in the final draft.
I need to stop drawing things I’ll never have the patience to finish…
and work on hands some more.

I get the feeling that I will never finish this. The original plan was to have the street lamp behind her flicker and make the whole thing have a nice bunch of moving static over it but bluh.
I gave myself too much work by deciding the background would be in color. Oops.
I will probably never finish this. Out of boredom, I was going to redraw a page of my webcomic — I realized that I had drawn a PERFECT, BEAUTIFUL HAND…backwards and lost my will to keep drawing it, especially since it was just for the fuck of it.
